OPD Services
We offer eye-care services for all age-groups from infants to the elderly. Our clinic atmosphere is friendly for children with a play area wherein the child can be occupied till he comes in for a consultation and does not feel he is in a clinic. Clinic has the facility for the disabled with our premises accessible for wheel-chair bound and disabled patients with staff trained for the same.
We believe in accurate refractions. The optometrist is well trained and qualified for refraction and each and every glass prescription is re-checked by the doctor personally before it is prescribed.
An every patient above the age of 40 is evaluated for glaucoma and an applanation tonometry is a must for our patients. Again a need to re-emphasize that the Intra-ocular pressure measurements are done by the doctor. Patients with suspicion of glaucoma or family history of glaucoma are further evaluated for same by Gonioscopy, perimetry, OCT optic Nerve and UBM if needed.
Patients suffering with retinal diseases are treated at our clinic. A detailed retinal evaluation is done after dilatation, including indirect ophthalmoscopy and slit-lamp ophthalmoscopy to rule out any retinal lesions in patients with myopia, diabetic retinopathy, uveitis, age-related macular degeneration to name a few retinal disorders.
A Scan biometry is done for calculating the power of the intra-ocular lens in patients undergoing cataract surgery. It is done using the immersion biometry or the optical biometry need-based.
An imaging modality used for evaluating retinal disorders like Diabetic retinopathy, Macular degeneration, and other numerous retinal disorders.
A relatively newer imaging modality which is used extensively in the diagnosis of numerous retinal conditions is available at our center. It is a very helpful tool for diagnosis and also for follow up evaluations after treatment.
Used for treatment of retinal disorders like diabetic retinopathy, retinal degenerations like lattice degenerations, retinal tears/holes, central serous retinopathy and other retinal lesions.
Yag capsulotomy and Yag Iridototomy facilities are available at our clinic.
Surgical Services
Surgical facilities include both anterior and posterior segment surgeries. We have the state of the “Constellation system” for all types of vitreo-retinal surgeries like retinal detachment, surgeries for diabetic retinopathy, macular hole, macular ERM and cataract surgeries. In addition to these, procedures for glaucoma, squint, and oculoplasty are also conducted at our center.
